i believe this song is one of many songs that started rock and roll. check out the second to last line "to be a rock and not to roll" not only does that have the words rock and roll in it, but that means that you have what you need to move on in life ("to be a rock") but you dont use those things to their full potencial ("and not to roll") its bassically saying that you should live your life and not be a motionless rock. |

UMMMM! to the people on the first page, his son fell out of a 53 story window. that is what the song is about. his son Connor was 4 and it was 1991 when connor died. Eric Clapton was writing a song for the movie called Rush. he wrote a different song for the end and he found another part in the movie where he wanted to write a song about connor. |

i think this song is about a guy who is struggling in life and he is getting close to cracking. "sixx feet from the edge means he is that close to losing it and just giving up on everything. this is THE best song by creed, i dont really like creed that much but this song is really good!!! |
