I think that this song is about death. and the closer you get to reaching your "destination" (aka death) the more you begin to "slip away". and the verses are different scenarios about people who are beginning to slip away, and what they are doing abut it. And then in the end he summarizes that God's the only one who will know the future, so live your life and don't worry about your death. |

i agree with what everyone is saying, however, i still don't get what this line means: "she would even miss you if you taught her sight" it doesn't make sense. |
