I agree with the last one, but I do believe that a one night stand is in order, though that's not what they normally sing about cause they are a bit of a complex band and don't sing about just scoring lol. And to go along with jujube111, A Band In Hope was suppose to be a sister album to Decomposer (meaning released soon after Decomposer) but they took a break (as a band from each other) and came back with a whole bunch of songs and shit and yeah. I'm getting my matches bio confused. But they're supposed to be tied in together. That's what I meant haha. Wow.... |

This song is really confusing, especially how people are having a conversation about something that really doesn't matter. Um, well, maybe a bad relationship? You can tell that the narrator is hurt about something. There's some Bible references though (ex: "lion and lamb") so maybe he's giving up on religion? Come on peeps! |

Ah, this song is probably the best in the whole album, along with In A Sweater Poorly Knit. I don't think it's about him cheating on his wife necessarily, more about the temptations that came to his life and the ones he took and how that affected his life. They might be using a sailor theme, but there are also a lot of metaphors of how our relationship with G-d is like an ocean or some type of body of water. This song realyl moved me, I love the line "we keep our confessions long and when we pray we keep it short" showing how we keep mistakes but we don't always try to stop, we just depend on mercy and grace |
