As it has been stated before I think its about 2 relationships, firstly one with a male and then one with a female. Davey retains feelings for the male and when he is in a relationship with the female he is distant and cold (just like the title love like winter). No matter what the sexuality of the person is, its a song about rebound relationships and trying to let go of someone you truely love. Hope that helps. |
