this is such a beautiful song! and she also reminds me of Tori Amos, mazshields. It must be something about the way that she sings the type of songs that she sings? I don't know if that made any sense.. lol. But I agree, I think it is about somone who is having problems with themself. |

I'm making a video for my mom's birthday next week with all of her old weddinng pictures and I randomly got this song stuck in my head today - and later on realized that it would fit so so so perfectly with the video! It brings tears to my eyes listening to it - and I'm only 15. We saw him perform this in concert a few years ago and it was just...wow...beautiful. |

| this song completly makes sense with drug usage, but I also take it as that the person has been cutting, or doing self harm, [a very bad addiction itself] and is looking for a way out of it. they are looking for "someone to get them out of the nightmare" and help them to stop. that's just my oppion though =) | |

| to me this song has no RIGHT meaning behind it. I can see how it can be interpreted in a sexual way, self harm, religious, and rape and whatever else, but I personally take it in a way of self harm because it's the way that i can relate to it; but whatever floats your boat =) | |
