They played this song at my friends funeral last week and it completely made me crack, i've never felt more emotion in a song before, even after hearing forever young (worst funeral song.) To me this sounds like one of those I don't give a fuck what people think, i'll live my life how I want. My mate was real into the drugs, dying of an overdose at 15, and I think this was his way of being like I took drugs, I died, it was my decision and i dont care what you think about it. I think its got to do with the whole life is what you make it like "every day for us something new" and "life is ours we live it our way" I can't really see it being about love, but yeh. R.I.P CODY |
