| MF Doom – Blunt Drunk (All Outta Ale) Lyrics

The line 3,4-methylwhatever is one of the best lines I've ever heard in a rap song. That is actually the chemical name for ecstasy, for anyone who didn't bother looking it up. |

| Nine Inch Nails – Ripe (With Decay) Lyrics
| 16 years ago

Only NIN could have instrumental songs with almost 40 comments about what they mean.
This song is a great closing song for the fragile. Whenevery I hear it, I picture somebody dying out in the woods or somewhere in the middle of the night. I'm not sure if that is what it is supposed to mean, but it probably has to do with someone dying or killing themselves. |

| Nine Inch Nails – Survivalism Lyrics

This song, like the rest on Year Zero, is poltical. I think 'survivalism' is the opposite of pacifism, like the last line says. Trent is talking about our government and society and how we rape the planet (mother nature is a whore) and destroy the world to try to save ourselves. We just go along conquering the planet and destroying everything to try to save our nation and our messed up way of life. |

| Marilyn Manson – The Fight Song Lyrics

I think Manson did mean this to be an anthem of people rebelling against religion, but as a Christian, I take it a different way. I'm not a slave to a 'god' that someone made up, I serve a god who exists. I don't care what the world thinks of me. I'm going to fight for what I believe in. I don't know why he had that quote from Stalin in there because that would go against Manson's point since Stalin was very ateist.
Plus the 'fight fight fight' part pumps me up so much. |

| Green Day – Working Class Hero (John Lennon cover) Lyrics
| 17 years ago

Green Day is a bunch of hypocrites. They criticize America all the time, as they are millionaires. If they lived in any other country, they would either not be as rich or wouldn't be able to be successful musicians at all. They act like America makes it impossible for people to become successful and rich, but they are proof of the opposite. They say "if you want to be a hero, follow me" but they are one of the rich people at the top, not a 'working class' 'hero'. |

| Brian Head Welch – Die Religion Die Lyrics
| 17 years ago

|
This song is saying that religions that men create keep us away from true religion and a real relationship with Christ. If religion is just something you do on Sunday's or is arbitrary man-made rules, then it is meaningless and keeps us from discovering what religion should be. |

| Disturbed – Indestructible Lyrics

I think this song is about the US. they think we are just looking for a reason to attack some other nation and destroy them. Most people in America do think our army and nation is indestructible and we can't be defeated, which is somewhat naive. Our army is very powerful, but by using it recklessly to wipe out nations is a poor use of it. This song is about my favorite song from the new album. |

| The Offspring – Hammerhead Lyrics

It is about a soldier in Iraq. He is confused and depressed because he doesn't really know what he is fighting for. He is just doing what he is told and going through the reasons everyone else is telling him he is fighting. He's questioning why he is fighting and whether he is doing the "greater good." That's at least what I think. This is one of their best songs and that is saying something. |

| Metallica – Turn the Page (Bob Seger cover) Lyrics

This song is about the emptiness of fame. While he travels from show to show, he thinks about how his life just goes on and on, not really bringing any true, lasting satisfaction. |

This song's music is such a rip off of Werewolves of London and Sweet Home Alabama. It makes me loose any respect I had for Kid Rock as a musician. |

| Pillar – For the Love of the Game Lyrics

It's about being a Christian. Before he became one, he was self conscience and now he has courage. Life will be hard, but that makes winning in life even better. We need to try in life like we are trying to win a game, such as a race, the classic Christian metaphore. This song is really good. |

| KoЯn – Freak on a Leash Lyrics

I think it's about society and life in general. Society is always taking from him and confining him and trapping him. He is a freak on a leash because society is taking his life and controlling him.
I absolutely love the bridge part. |

The title is actually "reckless youth". This song really reminds me of "youth gone wild" by Skid Row. |
