I think this song is about leaving a dead-end town and moving somewhere better. When you return home and see everyone you grew up with, they're just doing the same old shit they've always done. But there are still some good things about it, and some good people. I always thought the line was 'feeling life repeat itself' instead of 'beating life, repeating sound', but listening now, I can't decide... |

Wow.. this is such a good song. Love the riff. An interesting take on the lyrics to have them as questions. I heard it as: What easy used to be. What love used to be. What drugs used to be. etc. but now I'm not so sure... |
