seems a pretty simple meaning, it's just criticizing people not of Carribean descent for using Patois. DR have said they dislike Matisyahu, and he's a white jewish guy giving it the creole, so I think it's a racial thing, like I as a white guy wouldn't go around putting on a Zimbabwean accent, so why is patois a perfectly fine thing to bastardize?
That's my view on it at least. |

to munichselleh a vagabond isnt a rapist, it's any person who wanders the roads and lives free, it used to be another word for a homeless person. this song is about a man who is a vagabond, finding a woman i think. considering one lyric is "Please don't make her do things against her will" it hardly sounds like the words of a rapist |
