Great song with more than just metal in it - bit of symphonics, especially at the end. It's not the kind of thing he usually does but all in all it stays brilliant. | |

I think it runs deeper tha just being a motorcycle accident, and I disagree that the "baby" hes talking about is his bike, its his Lover. He knows he leads a dangerous life (Hes part of some extreme motorcycle group like Hells Angels), and Either hes wanted or he knows that something can go wrong at any moment. So late at night when he returns to his lover.. he tells her how much he loves her, what she means to him and that they should make the most of the little time they hav together. Its alot like the balad The Highwayman except he doesnt get trapped and shot, he gets in an accident. (sorry cant remember who wrote that balad) |

Heh you don't have to like the band. The song on its own has alot of meaning in it and alot of people ascosiate with it so for them I say GREAT to evryone else I say: Why the hell dyou listen to the song if you dont like it in the first place. All bands screw up sometimes but there are always people who actually like the songs that other people say the band screwed up with. For this reason I always say even if one band specialises in making a certain type of music, dont judge them by it. Judge the song on its own. The only thing that you can judge a band by is how many songs it made that you dont like and for that reason you'll generally keep away from the band, but you never know when they might by some stroke of genious produce a song that you actually like - alot. |

Awesome song though personally I find that the music doesnt really suit the song, although the music in itself is BRILLIANT, it mkes your heart want to soar at the climaxes and just float when it starts calming down, but the lyric is about somebody who holds on to an old love. The person she loves isn't dead so she asks for a second chance (bring me home or leave me be). The thing that seperated them isnt something new to the world (Relive the old sin of Adam and Eve). The part about (Take me Cure me Kill me Bring me home Every way Every day Just another loop in the hangman`s noose / I keep on watching us sleep) Is asking the person to do something instead of just leaving them hanging on memories, even if he leaves her like all the others, she will always dream of him. She also states that he brings out the best in her(Show me myself without the shell Like the advent of May), and that forgiving her would be like giving back her innocence.(Redeem me into childhood ) The chorus is pretty straight forward except at the end to tell you what his decision was. (he didn;t give their relationship a 2nd chance) The only way I can relate the title to the lyric is to see at as the memory haunting her, wich would suit with the music, as it would emphasise the way he makes her feel. This is my 1st interpretation of the song so if you find it faulty feel free to point out the things you dont agree with. |
