Sorry for my language, but this is such a fucking amazing song. In my opinion this song may be about making a mistake and getting in a prison. "God in heaven, my only friend" - no one believes you weren't guilty, but god knows the truth. "I ride alone, the wasteland that I cross" - may the wasteland be the government or any other powerful organization which has money to put you in prison and make you stay there despite that you are not guilty. |

This song is really incredible, such power, so many good twists and changes of mood, probably the greatest instrumental song I've heard. I'm a listening to Metallica for 10+ years and every time I return to this song I have goosebumps all over me, I just can't explain it, I almost cry. For the whole song I have only emotions, no images or fantasies like what's it about, what's the action going on, about what this song is. I just don't think about what this song is, I have so many emotions, from anger to love. It's not possible for me to explain how I feel, you just have to listen to it. Sorry, just wanted to share. |

TheBible => Steel Dragon is a fictional band with great musicians in it, like the guitarist Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne and Black Label Society), bassist Jeff Pilson(BLS), drummer Jason Bonham(ex-Led Zeppelin), vocalist Jeff Scott Soto (Rising Force) and others. Steel Dragon actually is Judas Priest, the singer that was fired in the movie is Rob Halford, who came back later. The movie was named Electric Eye, but they renamed it to Rock Star. |

BlackLegion1994 almost right, this song is about using Cyanide to make a suicide.(Cyanide - any salt of cyanil acid *not sure about theese words, can't really translate them from russian*) You have about one minute of life left if you breath it, you have a couple minutes more if you eat it. I think this song is about theese moments between life and death. -Death, won't you let me stay? Maybe I've done the wrong thing? -Suicide, I've already died -It's just the funeral I've been waiting for -Cyanide, feeling death inside -Break this empty shell forevermore This tells about the moments when you haven't yet died, but already feel cyanide destroying you within.
