Hahha,

I'm a Katherine, too.

Does anyone know where I can find this song online to hear it?

this song gets me everytime.

It's those pills that you don't need to take,
Medicating perfection, now that's a mistake.

Josiah Leming – Paper Houses Lyrics 18 years ago
Well, a lot of my last comment got cut off for some reason?

Anyways, that quoted line, in my opinion, sums up the song quite a bit for me. It just shows that he has no hope for "there's no light at the end of the tunnel."

I think it has to do a lot with someone who has been let down a lot in life.

But hey, that's just my short take on it : ]

Wow. Who knew such an amazing voice could sing such a depressing song? I think I might mention how amazing his voice is on every song I comment of Josiah Leming's. Ha.

This is pure poetry. Incredible and beautiful. Such talent.

I think the song has a lot to do with burdens life brings. "Hopes they fall like broken glass into my overburdened lap."

Josiah Leming – To Run Lyrics 18 years ago
I have said this before, but Josiah Leming is just so amazing, I must again. His voice is so incredible, that it is nearly sinful. And I agree, it takes me to another place. That was well put, I admit.

Now, to tackle the song itself.

Obviously, it is about a failed relationship. I think the first verse is about how he had changed, that he wasn't making the time for her, that he just started to lose feelings, and she couldn't deal with it anymore. Even though it pained her to, she had to end it.

And then he realized, "what did I just do?"

Then the second verse is basically him going into a tangent, being nostalgic. Talking about how things use to be, the way he use to be, the way their relationship use to be, and how he never expected this outcome.

Then the third verse, I'm not a hundred percent clear on, but that's what makes a good song great...when you don't know the exact meaning. I think it means something along the lines of that he began to face reality, but couldn't? That doesn't make sense. Hm, kind of like...maybe he has to face the reality of the situation even though it sucks hardcore x10.

But that's just my take on it : ]

Josiah Leming – Theysay Lyrics 18 years ago
Firstly, I want to say that Josiah Leming's voice is so amazing it's almost sinful.

and this song is probably my second favorite, if not my favorite. Maybe, because I can kind of relate?

But I find this song to be about these two people who are in love and everyone around them thinks they won't make it in the long run. Basically, the odds are against them. But they KNOW they can make it, and that just because these people speak the words of failure, they're still going to push and make it together.

And I absolutely love how easy he just said "they can burn in hell." It's like he's just looking at those people and saying "I don't give a shit what you say, because we can do this with or without your support." He says something so strong with such an incredible voice and with such ease.

True talent, I must admit.
