I think the meaning is fairly straightforward ... but the lyrics have been written in a way that makes for meaningful interpretation. For me, it really means being left behind by someone else, for a greater pursuit of sorts ("in the name of science"). But the best thing about this song is the way she sings it, and the raging chords -- keys going on fire here |
