I wanted to ask, ‎in this verse "Nothing noble in dying for your religion For your country For ideology, for faith For another man, yes" is the "yes" at the end and affirmation for everything that was said before, or is it implying the exception that dying for another man is indeed noble? |

My first comment, lol I'm pretty sure about this: The lady in brightest white=Innocence The devil & the deep dark ocean= Tuomas and his innoncence that had end The innocence first longs for the devil, without know anything about him. Later, with the "Let me be" is like the lost innocence long to be innocent again, just like Tuomas. And the "We shall come to set the dolphins free, we shall wash the dark bloodredsea, our songs will echo over the mountains and seas, eternity will begin once again in peace" it refers to the band and it's music, that with this he will regain innocence. just like in the song "The heart i once had" that says "the music flows beacause it longs for the heart i once had" or in Ocean Soul "My only wish to become something beautiful, through my music..." This is, to me at least, the hidden meaning in the song. Although i'm not 100% sure about how the story goes... Sorry for my english! Nightwish! come to Argentina ASAP! |
