A horror film director that the band liked that made b movie horros directed it and one other video at thier request....I noticed the prescriptions also....I think it is because ppl might have thought that he was wating his life being in a band, and they perscriptions were a way to fix it (think of modern day society and the over use of prescriptions) also, the horror director could have wanted it in there... I think the song is about not wanting to work for "the man" like a lot of hives songs.... |

They put things so well...It kinda makes me sad though, Idk why though...I think its just because it is so hard to put up with stupid stupid judgmental people...Also, maybe becuase they are so adorable (i know I shouldn't say that) they are always themselfs and smiling or making "intense" stares...and then most bands are dark and negative always and never smile or act themselfs and people are that way also....people want you to be negative and a certain way, serious, and follow the path planned for you, I know I feel the pressure....maybe I'm the only one who feels this way...all sad and all... I love the hives... |

what??! I am pretty sure this song is not about STD's and being gay..It is just another song about them being THE HIVES and being famous..It's like a teenage tantrum about what will happen when they are big "rock stars" and they can do whatever they want "cuz they wanna...." and it say's "alright" not "but I" When they say disease, they don't mean STD's...they mean like they are contagius because they are so good...
