I don't think morrissey has sexual feelings towards buildings...
the 'absence of human touch' is probably about his lack of sex life. Morrissey was celibate until like...2006. And this song, i think, is about a relationship that went wrong so instead of looking for love he's embracing where he is. Which happens to be Paris. |

bob marley is one of those artists where if you cover one of his songs, it can only be a tribute. sublime took a really awesome song and wanted a chance to do it themselves. i think that people who are trying to find drug references in it are taking away from the real motives behind the song, and sort of insult sublime. it kind of shows that you don't think that they're capable of a song that isn't about drugs. so good job. |

i agree that it's someone leaving america, possibly an immigrant going home or something. but the person stealing explains that he doesn't feel bad because people are just giving money to the church without knowing what it's being used for. if he takes it to go home, its for a good cause. if he hadnt, it's possible it would have gone into buying like...office supplies. |

i agree that it's either the parents watching their child grow up or the girl looking back on who she used to be. i think the line 'used to be one of the rotten ones and i liked you for that' meant that she was different from everyone else; almost socially unacceptable. and whoever the narrator is liked that about her. 'now you're all gone got your makeup on and you're not coming back' means she changed herself to be like everyone else and they miss that. |

i love this song. its so frantic and the singer keeps going back and forth about whether or not they should be in love and it's driving him crazy. it's adorable. |

i like this song.
the way it starts out quiet and then builds up into something epic reminds me of the song 'a better son/daughter' by rilo kiley. so if you like this song youd probably like that one. |
