| The Cab – Lights Lyrics | 16 years ago |

it's most definitely not about ian leaving the cab, although i can see where you might think that, however there are youtube videos of them playing this song dated way before ian left the cab, or was beginning to leave. and he's in this song. the lady luck ep has him in it, even if they took him off of the cover art... i honestly just see it as a song about their music career. they're leaving the lights (they're from vegas, makes some sense) and hope that the future is just as bright, (hoping that they can make it a career, that they'll be a success, stuff like that. it seems pretty basic to me. |

| Cobra Starship – Prostitution Is The World's Oldest Profession (And I, Dear Madame, Am A Professional) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
i definitly think this song is one big metaphor for the music industry as most other people have said. like... we are the "customers" buying their music and their posters, and magazines with them on it, and they are the prostitutes, pimping themselves out in the form of whatever we'll buy. im sure they still love music, but the business side of it is kind of sick and ugly. not that i will EVER stop buying their cd's and/or merch. but yeah. idk. |

| Gregory and the Hawk – Isabelle Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
i agree with what most people say about the man being isabelle's husband or lover, and i also agree that isabelle is dead. the references to "up here" and the ground being hard where it was dug in make me think this. i think that the man might be abusive though. just the references to "how do I break it to him? the death of one is staying and all I think of now is a way to get under and a way to get out" it seems like shes afraid of what he'll do if she says the truth also "if his strong has make it hard to shove him away" it seems like shes trapped in this relationship. "but Isabelle what can I do? the last thing I need is to end up askew" this line makes me think that if she tries to end the relationship he might hurt her. and also..."and it is kinda tiresome to keep an eye on him just look what he's done so far" that line makes me think that maybe the husband killed isabelle. which would give her reason to be afraid of ending the relationship. im not sure, thats just the feeling i got from this song. |

| Panic! at the Disco – Nails For Breakfast, Tacks For Snacks Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| so idk if it really makes a difference but after the "she never fixes this but at least she..." someone is saying "but at least she makes me forget" in the backgroud and i think that it really adds to the intensity of the song. i love this song soooooooooooo much. its like currently my favorite. panic never ceases to amaze me. | |
