Jason Webley – Almost Time to Go Lyrics 17 years ago
I think it's about somebody he used to love who has just died. That person was always running- never staying in one place too long, never getting too close to anyone, always changing who they were. While he's thinking about this person, he's also contemplating his own life- who he's touched, what he's done, and how life is ultimately so short that no matter how old you are, you're so close to death. It's both sad and hopeful at the same time; sad for the person he's lost and the brevity of life, but hopeful about what can be accomplished in that time. It's such a beautiful song.

Lovedrug – Everything Starts Where It Ends Lyrics 17 years ago
This is one of those song that can fit any situation anybody's going through. I've always seen pieces of it as referencing depression or some kind of mental illness"

"You cannot control me from the other side"
-The sufferer facing their problem head-on, trying to fight it and refusing to let it get him.

"When nobody wants you in their life...it's alright, it's gonna be alright"
-People on those situations often feel like the people they care about are abandoning them. This one's pretty obvious.
That whole next verse I think is telling the person that there's good in even the hardest and darkest situations if you can hold on

"Wake up, you're alive. We're on your side"
-I've always thought this is the most beautiful part of the entire song. To me, it's always implied so much more than words could ever say. I feel like the singer is trying to relate the endless beauty and possibility of the world, and is trying to get the person in question to "wake up" and see what's possible. I want to get that line tattooed on my wrist

Streetlight Manifesto – Dear Sergio Lyrics 17 years ago
First, I completely agree with CFaz.
As for the lyrics, they've always reminded me of a girl whose life has completely fallen apart. She can't get away from her problems and she's surrounded by people who don't care about her unless she pretends to be exactly what they want her to be. She puts on this fake face and fake attitude hoping to fool everybody, but the singer can tell that behind her fake smile, she's miserable. I dunno, that's just my take.

Lovedrug – Castling Lyrics 18 years ago
It's such a beautiful song. I think it's about accepting your pain and brokenness as something that's changed you for the better and learning from it. Instead of letting it weigh you down and make you a negative person, he's saying to remember that things will always get better eventually and until then, just realize that there's a meaning for what's happening.
Every time I hear it I think of a friend of mine. He went through a really bad breakup a few years ago and he's let it affect it negatively, to the point that he had to break up with this great girl he really liked because he's still hurting too much to have her around. And I just want to play this song for him and make him realize that he doesn't have to let his pain affect him the way it currently is.

The World/Inferno Friendship Society – Please My Favorite Don't Be Sad Lyrics 18 years ago
"The butterflies in my stomach have flown up through my throat and learned to love the open air"
I have that line tattooed on my ribs.

Obviously about living life for yourself, doing what you want, and enjoying life
