The first two verses seem to be about xanax. Lining up the totem poles (that's what users call 2 mg of xanax), never felt more natural and came apart. Possibly the next verse, "show some kindness to a petty thief", indicates stolen prescription drugs? I'm not saying that's the whole meaning of the song, that's just the first thing that came to my mind when I heard the song. Obviously fans know he's had substance abuse problems, it would make sense for him to make a reference like that. |
