I think its about a group of friends and family mourning the people who died in an accident (from the previous song octane twisted). When they are holding the candle light vigil the family is communicating with the dead. No idea what: (Give me something new, please... something I can love) Is all about. Its also in the octane twisted song right before. |

| Any ideas on the meaning? I guess Ill start: Octane is a kind of fuel so it could be about a car, the song references blood flowing out of reeds and a river, so an sutomobile accident that occurred near a river? | |

I agree that its about unexpected death in general. Car accident, getting shot, etc are all ways that we never imagine our selves dying. Personally I always imagine myself dying of old-age. Its just something so tragic that happens more often than we think, and its something we never (nor should never) anticipate or plan for. All my designs, simplified And all of my plans, comprimised And all of my dreams, sacrificed Everything you've worked for, planned for, dreamed about are gone and ruined. |

I really think sibelius is onto something. SW is drawing a parallel between what the killer is doing to people and what the industry has done to music. |
