i love this song but can someone tell me what the chorus means? when i started reading what everyone was saying about how he was a counselor (sp?) at the camp it made me think about how you can get written up (like a report to a highly authority) but thats the wrong spelling of "right." So my theory for "Oh this friend today right me up" is that he is saying that manny is such a good person that he wants to imitate him and right his wrongs which to me makes sense; him asking his friend to right his wrongs. any other opinions? |

urcrazeeman i have to say i really dont think youre right. im a pretty big oar fan and ive never heard of marc (the lead singer) being an addict. i think that what most everyone said is right on. i think this song is about enjoying life and the friends that surround you. some of the lyrics are really poetic and metaphorical but i think that's the gist. great song |
