umm, after reading through most of the comments and not finding anything, I have a line i want to point out: "We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a 1000 days" When i hear that, I no longer thinks of something bad. I hear this like "All the pain I have experinced through my life is lost in 1000 days.", so the person now is now free: "we're flying, we're free before the thunderstorm", meaning the person is only free from pain until he/she has experinced pain once again. Even though i have to admit the theory about Lucifer sent quite a few interesting thoughts through my head. I am not much into religion myself, but for some reason i like the Lucifer character a lot, because he is the "evil" guy, who actually has good intentions. Or that is how I see him at least, from what I've heard from different sources. And remember the rules, which are so neatly placed RIGHT BELOW THE BOX YOU TYPE YOUR COMMENT IN! i understand the meaning quite well. Friendship part comes from people abandoning you. It's already been said actually, but to sum it up; someone being bullied, by some random people, and when he turns to his friend for help, his friend decides to join the mass so he too wont be bullied. Cowardly humans. |

first comment huh? well, first off, funny song, and it sounds amazing as well xD love speedy stuff the meaning however, is a bit more serious actually, cause the point in the song being fast is most likely to further make you realize this is about stress. "we're all gonna run run run around" well, thats what we do? we wake up early morning, go to work, "run around" doing whatever job we have, and "run around" shopping for food or clothes or whatever afterwards, and "run around" doing everything you have to do at home. "like a rocket, never stopping, you'll never stop it" well kind of a give away, you can't stop it if you don't stop, so... basicly, your shrewed until you retire xD even though stress is quite a serious matter, i remember having a couple of teachers quitting job on recommendation from their doctors because of stress, so... yeah... Don't know how this fits into the movie it was in though... (digimon that is) |

| Ha! i love this song xD even if I am not a girl, i know both me and my girlfriend talks like cats (you know, miaw, stuff xD) when we are together, and even in public at times. seriously, my "reputation" is; gay, sizzy, girl, something along those lines, but hey, a guy can act like he wants can't he? xD love the meaning of this song, why care what the hell people think about you, they aren't going to tell me how to be. Might be bad to have an attitude like this, since you often get quite a bit of enemies or at least people who don't like you >. | |

god seriously can't Linkin park make anything new that isn't brain/mind-blowing good? I mean, they only managed to make one so far (cure for the itch) so how the hell did they manage not to make another bad song on the other albums? figures, maybe they just felt they made enough mistakes when they mixed their songs with jay-z as for the meaning.... i know this all too well. Or at least, this is what it makes me think of. I think alot about my girlfriend whenever i hear this. It makes me feel both sad and happy, because i know i would give everything to her, but i just feel that even when i try, i hurt her. So "give it all away, to have someone to come home to" fits me quite well, as I would rather die than lose her. |

i don't think so. In fact, i think it sounds like a father with a child or two, who just lost his wife. This band is Danish, thus i highly doubt they would create a song dedicated to john lennon, and also, he sings as if he loves the person, which would be rather strange... "love to turn you on, the dream is always strong. And love, is floating in the air, and i can see you there" While i don't know the true meaning, it seems to me like he is dreaming of her, and when he then wakes up, his mind is somewhere else, thinking about her. My theory at least. |

i believe what killercliche said is more correct. The "Silverflame" is most likely meant to "burn" her last words "say my name" which most likely is his/hers name, in her soul "take control, of my heart, of my mind and of my soul." who knows, i do however find it unlikely that HE refers to her as silverflame. |
