wonderful stuff. i saw them live last month, and i was not expecting that this one but they did and it was ten times better - which hard to achieve since the record is breathtaking by itself. |

yeah tdamcbigity, i agree.. and as much as i like the newer stuff, i prefer their first two-three albums more. i just bought horses in the sky and the new album two weeks ago and the new album especially (besides Blindblindblind - i love that song) still has yet to grow on me. they're always evolving this band, and now they're a lot louder - which is definetly not a bad thing, though. and i mean even with the vocals, i prefer they way they sang on the first two albums (although i really do enjoy the choir) because the vocals were only used stylistically and not all the time. i'll be honest - so far i don't like 1,000,000 died to make this sound - but it still has yet to grow on me so i'll keep my mind open and end this rant. |

this is such a great song. has anybody ever seen on youtube where a kid (his account name is gihm, if you want to check it out) plays the part starting around 5 minutes on guitar? he plays like all their instruments on the guitar, its amazing. |

I first heard this song (and of this band) in the 28 Weeks Later trailer. It fit that trailer fucking perfectly, great movie too. Great song as well, although its really the only one I know. I've been meaning to buy an album... any suggestions?
And HideYourDisguise, I agree 100% the middle section is breathtaking and whatever wonderful word one could use to describe it. |

This is probably my favorite song of theirs.
And what do you mean they're not political? At the end of part two of this song, there is a sample of George Bush making a speech and he's like constantly interrupted by applause. That seems like some sort of political statement to me. |
