I haven't read any H.P. Lovecraft, but these lyrics do seem a little hard to understand and get the point of. Maybe if I read the book, I'd get it. As for the instrumental part of the song, it's really amazing. It most certainly has a very dark and spine-chilling feel to it. |

This is a good song and I can't say I hate it, but it's just so overplayed on the radio that it is hard to listen to without frowning when you hear it too often. It has to be one of the most overplayed songs in the history of music, for sure. |
