it could be about a break up, death, fear of being forgotten or any of that plus more.. but it helps me relate to me and my ex best friend. particularly the: "Help me leave behind some reasons to be missed Don't resent me, when you're feeling empty Keep me in your memory, leave out all the rest Leave out all the rest" i think of her when i hear it because i want to know she didnt js forget me, and i dont want her to resent me, i know when i feel empty, i do think of my memories with her, and i leave out the bad part. so its really literal right there. then again it does sound like its about him dying. |
