| The Rasmus – Livin' In A World Without You Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
"For 40 days and nights I was chained to your bed You thought that was the end of the story Something inside me called freedom came alive" That definitely, for me, says how commitment in a relationship made him feel like he was trapped for what felt like a long time, and he didn't want it, then he decided to 'be free.' Haha, yes, I agree he isn't the most reliable. |

| Brand New – Sowing Season (Yeah) Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I suggest read Stephen King's novella "Secret Window, Secret Garden" or watch the film, it makes you think about the song in a different way, almost. (The plot is basically revolved around a manuscript called Sowing Season) Amazing song. |

| Escape the Fate – The Webs We Weave Lyrics | 17 years ago |

webs we weave makes me think of spinning a web of lies. one huge lie, with loads of lies and fibs and tales spun off the main lie. that's the impression i get. but i can see how it relates to the addiction that people have said in comments. tis song made me fall in love with escape the fate. the introduction alone, before he even started singing made me drool. |

| Cute Is What We Aim For – Risque Lyrics | 17 years ago |

What the hell? It's "medically" and I knew that from the first listen. I think I'd trust the CD booklet over lyricsondemand, which is actually sometimes wrong. Cute song. |

I LOVE this song. It makes me think about the apparent conflict between Craig, Max and Ronnie and the problems that must be going on. It could be about blessthefall, but some lyrics make me think that it's about the Ronnie Radke thing. 'I can't believe the drama that I'm in' I think that's a reference to all the rumours and hate and people taking sides and 'the troubles' that they feel Ronnie has caused. I think the lyrics are: "It's on my mind all of the time, and if you left, I would be fine." Maybe I'm wrong. |

| Blessthefall – With Eyes Wide Shut Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Definitely one of my favourite songs ever. I think it's about the pain of going on tour, and not knowing what might happen: being disconnected from your family and friends, but the fact that he knows the one he loves is still there, he can keep strong and think about the positive things when he misses "her". "Baby close your eyes lets meet in our dreams tonight" They dream about each other, and constantly think about each other even though they're apart? I think it's about his girlfriend too. |

| Escape the Fate – The Day I Left The Womb Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I don't know anything about Ronnie Radke's life, so when I first heard this it sounded like his mother died giving birth, or sometime when he was young. It also sounded like his brother died from a drug overdose: 'if you see mother tell her I can sing' meaning joining her in death. And also the way he says Daddy, I thought that meant maybe he'd left too: from the stress and pain of everything he's seen and happen to his family, as if he's saying 'you must be proud' in a sarcastic way, because their family has fallen apart? Obviously, this is probably wrong but that's what I first thought when I heard the song because saying 'Daddy, how are you today?' [obviously feels closer to his Dad rather than his Mum, seeing as he calls her mother.] is like he's talking to them in his head and oh god, I am making NO sense. But XxAnimosityxX's comment made me see it in a completely different way. I adore this song. |

| Madina Lake – River People Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I think it could be about how the residents of Madina Lake fear the river people,m and that's why 'River People' isn't said in the lyrics. Also I think jealousy does come into it. With "their grass is green and your grass is diseased" and also with: "When you die you want the world to Remember you for who you really are" I think that may refer to celebrities like Adalia disappearing, and how it can maybe overshadow others? I'm not sure. But "They crawl in your head, they dig in your bones" When Adalia disappeared, everybody was a suspect, and maybe that means no-one trusts each other. "restless, faceless" everyone's worrying, everyone's the same? Also, about the "I'll take your crystal ball and make this crystal clear that i won't sit back and I won't drown right here" There's a fortune teller in Madina Lake named Lucielle, who is thought of as crazy and Pandora taunts her. After Adalia's disappearance, Pandora disappears [maybe she fled?]: maybe that refers to 'I won't sit back and I won't drown right here' because Pandora [from what I've found out] made friends with Adalia to get herself in her headlines, with Adalia gone, she'd be a suspect and would fall back down into nothing. ["drown right here"]: maybe that meant she wasn't going to sit back and let it happen. The way it's described here, the River People sound like Dementors. I suppose they do have hoods. |

| Madina Lake – Morning Sadness Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
To 'lollercoaster', I think that's an absolutely beautiful interpretation. I have what the woman is saying at the end of this song: it's to do with the whole concept of the album, the town of Madina Lake. The first part is a letter that Jonathan, a character in this concept finds in the front seat of a canoe, bearing the signature 'TFB' Just thought I'd give you some background if you didn't know xD I absolutely love the mystery of Adalia and Madina Lake, it's brilliant. Here's the words: "'Dear citizens of Madina Lake, We thank you for your commitment to this mission. It was not only our words, but your blind faith that carried you this far and for that we are grateful. From here, use the canoe to guide you to us.' As the last member planted his foot in the boat he pushed off with his other leg and the canoe began to shuttle downstream. For the first two hundred yards or so, it was pitch black. The rapids carried the three through the twisting rock enclosure into what seemed to be the depths of the earth. The canoe seemed to be guided by something more rational than the current, more rational and more determined. It felt like the cave, the canoe and the water were all part of a unified force working together to ensure the delivery of the passengers. Their hearts pounded and the blood coursed through their veins at an alarming rate." That's everything she says. |
