I'm pretty sure it's about someone who he loved who is dead. and we share a name on some picturesque grave--maybe conor isn't dead yet, but he knows someday he will be and this comforts him. also, you are the roots that sleep beneath my feet...this could be taken literally as underground, as in buried. |
