I think iluvsmekitty might be right about the song, but im not sure. I like the song, its a lot different but I still like it. People that have a wide range of musical tast will like it. Where I come from, you hear this type of music all the time. Its sort off becomes a part of you when you live hear, and theres no escaping it. I really can't belive the band that once wrote about prostituits and lies and strip clubs is now writing... folk? |

I agree, they've deffinatly improved, and Brendons deffinatly improved his vocals for singing live. Im glad ryan gets to sing to. I love this song, but dose anyone fully get it? |

Love this song. Its very different from the last album. But Im uo for change. I mean things can never really stay the same, everything would get so bouring. And if Panic didnt change it up a little every once in a while im pretty sure wed get sick of them, theyed probbly get sick of themselves. Anyway, song rocks. |

well, I think its about how people these days are never really themseleves and will usually do anything to fit in or be considered 'cool' by other people. as refranced by the lyrics "make us 'it' , make us 'hip', make us 'scene'."
And I agree with a lot of you, I dont think the media or a lot of people actually care about the lyrics of the songs or anything like that. Is more about how hot they all are. (especially Brendon and Ryan). I leoved them for a full year before I even bothered to see what they looked like.
Also I think they might be talking a little about how theres a lot of steriotyping going on. Like, just because you dress a certain way your this or that. I think thats stupid. People should dress in a way that makes them feel good about themselves, along with everything else they do.
I think they say "oh, keep quite, let us sing like the doves, then deside if its done with purpose or lack there of" because they want people to just listen to there music and thge deside for yourself if its good or not. ANd if you hate if then whatever, but if you like it then great. kindoff like the whole, " dont approve of a single word that we wrote." |
