This song is fucking glorious. Just saw it performed live this past weekend. Lots of emotion and letting loose from the audience. I like the above description of the lyrics. Revolutionary song. |

Once, before playing this song in France, Win said "Don't believe everything you see on T.V." This is good advice and this song is like this ironic prayer of someone who thinks they are "right by God", but are far from it. |

Seriously it could be a number of various drugs...but I do think this is Weezy just admitting that drugs are fun but dangerous as well and that he has had some bad experiences with coming down. It's a warning. |

Drugs would be one easy analysis to make, but i think there is a bit more to this song regarding the whole end of the world scenario. It is very hard to interpret. The lyrics are all over the place and very awesome so.....i have basically nothing. |

this song is about the natural injustice within man and how we lose control so easily....it kinda makes me think of the whole adam and eve scenario.
Now lets all go swing from some power lines! |

i recently ventured into finding arcade fire b-sides and came across this amazing song which i believe is about having to make a huge change and leaving all you know behind...and maybe just following a river to your new life. (hince the running water sound effects) |

it does indeed sound like a dream....a dream where one takes on a totally different character and enjoys escaping reality via deep imaginative sleep. |

I believe my children will one day listen to arcade fire just as i listen to legendary bands from past generations......anyway i think this song is about youth and defiance but there is something in the midst of it that evades my comprehension.
p.s. if you enjoy good music; you love this song |

This beautiful song is about someone who knows what they want (love) but the worldliness of the world won't allow them to have it. "I'm living in an age that calls darkness light"......things are messed up right now....we are messed up right now |
