| This song was actually that close to being released on Slippery When Wet (1986). On the 100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong (2004) booklet, Jon apologises, "It was absolutely appropriate for the Slippery record - coulda, shoulda, woulda been on Slippery had cooler minds prevailed. Here's my formal apology." Jon also mentions that this was the same era when he thought Livin' On A Prayer wasn't a hit. Being a massive Bon Jovi fan, I bet Jon's still kicking himself cause i know i am! Great song and LoadedPampers it was still a hit, it made the Billboard Top 40 on airplay alone.
