LOLOLOL! To those who think The Used lyrics are shallow, I ask you then why are there so many posts of different interpretations? Because songs like this one have several layers of meanings. Dig deeper. It could be about liars in the industry, liars (and abusers) in religious institutions, lies that come out of substance abuse, lies from the voices in your head. Bert's lyrics have as many facets as his own personality. |

I get the feel that it's about how sometimes we are so disappointed with our failures that we get depressed and stuck in the situation instead of finding possibilities of a solution...the advice "at least you can move onto a better plan" gives hope for a solution. This band is brilliant -- it's one CD that I can plan over and over and never get tired of. |

I must be weird because I got a completely different feel from this song. I thought it was about death and afterlife. The familiar buzz was now gone...death...crowd closed in...spirits coming to welcome him..and finding someone there he knew 20 years before. |
