I'm not really Racoon fan, but I like this song very much. It really sounds to me as if it's about a concert given in Liverpool although I doubt that they were in Liverpool for a concert. Te heroes in the Liverpool rain are the fans, they are out there listening to Racoon not minding that it's raining. Can't explain every line with this theory, so there's probably a better one :) |

Call me crazy but it seems to me like Anthony hooked up with Hillel's girl after he died. Hillel was his best friend, he refers to him as his "seperated side". He feels so bad about it that he would die for it to make it up to hillel "slit my throat". "How long will I slide" refers to the fact that he will feel this bad for the rest of his life and he can make it up to Hillel once he is dead "I've got to take it on the otherside". "Scarlet starlet and she's in my bed A candidate for a soul mate bled" This refers to the fact that he had sex with her, she is a candidate for a soulmate to Anthony because they've experienced the same loss with Hillels death. "Turn me on take me for a hard ride" This is the actual sex. "I tear it down I tear it down And then it's born again" He really doesnt want to like her that much so he tries to forget her, but it keeps coming to him. I really think this makes sense, wonder what you guys think. |

I think he means that he is treated as a product rather than as a person. People listen to his music, and have a certain feeling with that music (happy, sad, etc), but not with him as person...anybody could have sang it and they wouldn't care as long as they have that music. "Please don't drop me I'll fall to pieces on you If you don't see me I don't exist" I think these lines confirm that |
