this is one of my favorite songs. :) but i think he's trying to say that he's in love with this person but they only seem to come back after things fail with someone else. "you never had the guts to just throw me away" she always comes back to him, cause its probably comfort in knowing he will always be there if it doesnt work out with someone else. but then even though he loves her, he finally says i can't fight for a graveyard anymore. meaning that he doesnt want to fight for someone who has no real feelings for him |
