| Lovedrug – American Swimming Lesson Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Basically we are all ants in this world searching for the American dream. I am not sure if they person ever finds it or it is suppose to be a general meaning. | |
| Dashboard Confessional – Where There's Gold Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I love this song and the play on words. "Where there's gold, there's a gold digger." |

| The Maine – Count 'Em One, Two, Three Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I think this song is dirty :), but does anyone think that John at "reach out touch someone so catch me if you can reach out touch someone, touch someone, just touch" sounds like Chris from Dashboard? |

| The Maine – Ho Ho Hopefully Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I don't care how dorky I am, but this is such a sweet and cute song! I love it, and I will still listen to it even if it isn't Christmas. | |
| My Favorite Highway – How To Call A Bluff Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I know that it is about a relationship, but it could also mean that the boy and girl were not boyfriend and girlfriend. They were just friends. This happens all the time that one is attracted to the other one, but the other person does not feel the same way. In this case, it would be the guy reading into too much what the girl was saying. "Plays on a few words, that you never meant I must have misread all of the signals that you never sent" Then again, she could have been leading him on. In the end though, he is calling her out for the awful things she has done too him. |

| My Favorite Highway – Closer Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think this song is about him saying "I like you" and the girl did not respond as quickly as he would have like. So, he can't sleep, and he is worried because this could ruin everything. Then in the end, she realizes that she feels the same way (that they are getting closer). | |
| My Favorite Highway – Bigger Than Love Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
"We've all got scars as big as ours A token for the pain we hide inside of us Everyone's scared that somebody knows You keep it inside, yeah, that's how it goes" This part is amazing. We are all hiding, and we are so afraid to let people see that we are not perfect. The truth is, though, we all have scars. Dave continues singing ... "Nobody here is perfectly fine A delicate frame, a fragile design" "Some people change and some just won't ... Promises break and lovers will lie You hold up your hands and let out a sigh So smile right before you fall And lay beside this mess and call it consequence" This part is so true. I have personally sat around waiting for someone to change and in the end I just had to throw up my hands up and leave. You just have to love and respect yourself to move on to something right. My Favorite Highway is one of the few who lyrically go beyond the norm. They tie everything in to a deeper meaning that gives you chills when you listen to the music.
