i think this song is about the numb feeling that often follows depression, whether its from the introduction of anti-deressants or a antural occurence, hence all the boredom and killing time, and lack of feeling, one-dinemsional etc. "If I load my magazine But not just now when it's easy to stay clean When no one sees where you're bleeding" He wants to kill himself ( a magazine is a part of a gun), but his depression is somewhat under control so he views it as a waste. Plus, he has stopped using drugs. However, while he may be off drus he is still suffering or "bleeding" from somewhere else (his heart, head, soul, wtv). |

It's not sarcasm, he is trying to convince himself everyhting is ok, y repreating the phrase. I don't think it is about drugs or prostitution, just about a girl he loved who left him for another guy. The only part that sugests either is: "Yeah, I'll be with you soon Just as I'm paid" but that could be anything, she could live across the river and he needs boat fare (althought i don't believe this). |

I think he is talking about a girl who constantly finds distructive relationships. He sees her orbiting the moon, she is completly dependent on her poor choices in relationships. "Coming after people you watched collide" - she is picking destructive people |

I defiently got the lone wolf vibe. I think the song is about how he keeps chasing after things that aren't good for him, or he doesn't need. The gyspy women is more like his sipirt guide telling him to go elsewhere thats why he has to get to the river/ocean, he needs to go somewhere else if he is going to get what he is looking for. It's huge in Socal. |
