I'm loving the new album. I really like this song... I think it's talking about a relationship past the point of healing, like others have mentioned, and because of a lack of openness on someone's part. I have had, and hate, that feeling of "...just holding on to things we don't have anymore..." and "Building with bent nails, we're falling but holding...". |

This song says alot to me because of a relationship I've been in myself. From my ppov, sometimes you have this relationship that maybe you don't take enough time for or make a priority every day -- "I've been away some... why don't you phone some..." but when it comes down to it...when you're laying there at night...that's the person you want. "What's true is true..." Eventually you'll be restless enough to phone...cause you love them. |
