| the first verse is talking about how the person want to commit suicide. by being buried underground, he won't have to hear the lies of the people around him. the second verse is where the person explains his reason for not commiting suicide, since he believes in a heaven and hell, and so he continues to hope that if he doesn't kill himself he will go to heaven. the chorus is where the person makes his decision to commit suicide (i leave today) because he has realized that nothing great or wonderful will ever happen to him, and he has abandoned his hope of going to heaven. in the third verse, the person explains how it is partly society's fault that he has decided to commit suicide, since the actions of society have destroyed the earth. the person then repeats the first verse re-iterating why he has these suicidal thoughts. the chorus is repeated again, and presumably, the person kills himself. | |
