To me it sounds like whoever wrote the lyrics to this song. It sounds like He never wanted to live in a world where there was so much evil in it. He needed a new change in life, and either if he found it by a relationship with a woman or a relationship with God. He changed his life, and time to time he slipped back into his old ways. Like all humanity does. We tend to slip back our own pasts, even when we're at the highest strong point of our life. At time's we tend to slip back into our old ways. "I have seen my world change then go back to where it came" That's what it sounds like to me |
