And continuing on. The beauty of this song is that many of us tend to do this too. Where we act without weighing the consequences, and think that something just works out. Tomorrow is another day, right? |

I noticed no one took interest in figuring out what the "con" is, which I think is very important as he repeats it a lot. I think everyone agrees the man watched a little too many movies and that it got to his unstable head, but I don't think he simply wants an exciting lifestyle. I think he is already convinced that he is allowed to live one without consequence. He could be reckless and when it all comes crashing down, instead of dealing with with the aftermath, he could just walk away from the situation, like he would walk away from a movie theater. When it gets "unhappy", it will "end"! Lots of support. Obviously the first one is that he doesn't give a shit about the cops and storms off. The first psycho notion where being arrested won't be something he'll deal with. The "film" will end by that time. Then we see him smokes his "Lucky", which is the special lucky cigarette that you never smoke (even if it's the last one), and transfer from pack to new pack. By smoking his "Lucky", it shows he has no belief the whole situation will continue. The end is coming anyways, so why brother saving it. Lastly, he tells his dying girlfriend, "Don't worry love, we're almost done", which I think is almost proof that he sincerely believes he is in a movie that will just end. Clean slate, and fresh start. The movie is called Life2, maybe the man believes Life 3 will start after the end of this fiasco. This is the con. He's been tricked into think it'll all end in an unhappy ending. But he will find the hard truth when: his girlfriend dies (I believe, from amy's voice disappearing for the rest of the song) and he gets arrested. This explains the entire chorus. |

Definitely cheating is involve. I love the lines, "Look good in that red dress, I bet the boyfriend's happy". It just pierces me. |

| I'd like to add that I LOVE the instrumental part between Carolyne's consecutive verses. The time it takes is as if there's a whole chuck of story that elapsed. And the emotional tune is a perfect perfect atmosphere of what happened. | |

Take another look at the title of the song. "Personal" Carolyne got way too personal from the get go. In her first three lines, she gives two important information, and then already talks about a lost. Later she starts asking for his his information and maybe it was just too much for him. He already admits that "These things can be scary". I don't think it would have made a difference if carolyne was actually attractive. |

| The only thing going for this song are the cameos in their music video. But I'd prefer to watch it in mute. | |

| Sounds good, but the lyrics doesn't do much for me. WAYY too superficial. There's too many ideas, and not much depth at all. | |

Wow, this song is so sweet. When you stutter, you say the same word again and again. So he wants her to kiss him again and again instead. |

"And all I need is just to hear a song I know" That is motivation right there. Hell, this whole song is. |
