Everything about this song points to social anxiety. He sees a girl who's his type and they have interests in common, and so he gets weak ("I'm jello") and doesn't interact with her. He hopes that she'll make the first move, because even though he could see things working out between the two of them, he's too afraid. |

It's clearly about a father's love for his son and the sense of awe and wonder that comes with having a child and watching them grow. I don't think there's a specific age that the child is supposed to be. |

I think it's about a rapist rather than a murderer. I think "do you wanna die" is more of a threat than him actually wanting to kill her, since he also tells her he'll treat her well. Basically he's saying as long as she doesn't put up a fight, he won't hurt her (other than raping her, which he sees as treating her well because he's a sick perverted rapist). |

To me, it means we need to keep everything in perspective. Nothing that seems really bad is as bad as we think, and nothing that seems really good is as good as we think. |

I see this song as he's trying to help someone who doesn't want his help or can't be helped, and having everything would maybe make him able to get through. But he's wondering if having everything and getting through would even be worth it (that's how I interpret the "If I had everything would I still wanna be alive" part). |

This is the story of my life. My gf and I broke up and wanted to be best friends and then she goes and starts dating this douchebag who I can't stand, which makes being friends really hard. |

I think it's about someone who is in a really dark place in their life, feels really alone and is begging for some kind of help to get him out of it. |

lmageous is right. According to punknews.org, the song was written about Mike Ness' grandmother, who was a huge supporter of the band. I find it to be an incredibly powerful reminder how we never think about our own mortality until it gets shoved in our face when someone we love dies. |
