Again, no this song is not about the government, its talking about how religions try to scare you away from leading a life of freedom, religion tries to distract you with "sunbeams" and then allows real dangers to go unnoticed, religion ignores real problems like hunger and war by making their people obsess over god and not other people, and its against religion not people in religion, obviously they don't like organized religion, might be alright with theologies though |

This song is about a relationship, and how the guy wants to be passive and has his lover come to him rather than go out to her. He would apologize to her if she was there but she left him, and he could go to her but 100 miles is far away, and she keeps getting farther, and since he wouldn't go when she was close at 100, 1100 miles is way to far and now she's gone, he's the sad comedian because of the irony of the situation. |
