ahh! its not "vietnam fishing trips"! its "we are now fish and chips, italian opera" these lyrics symbolise how they are stuck in a hospital bed until they die so he is referring to himself as 'fish n chips'. how can someone confuse that with a nam fishing trip!? hahaha. |

clearly the song is referring to all the scene kids go to 'next' and 'bang' nightclubs religiously every week, where "the drinks are cheap and vinyl's cool." And they both go to all of the same clubs where everyone takes all the same drugs and talks about how they're so fucked up. And they try to get up and dance but they're all wearing spray on pants. It was a sight to be seen now wonder who they'll be next week. that is exactly a spot on discription of what everyone is like that go there. its ridiculous. |
