alright, alright. call me crazy, but when I listen to this I get this vibe that yeah, he totally liked her at one point, and yeah they were together, but that is done, and he's alright with that. BUT she wants some weird pseudo relationship, like friends with benefits-esque thing. She wants to be lovers on a physical level, and he's like bro. no... "Friends, lovers, or nothing We'll never be the in between So give it up " the in between is lovers. lovers is in between friends and nothing... I know this is pretty abstract, and not really it, but I just honestly feel like it makes since. that's why in the beginning he's telling her that he's going to make her cry. but, in all honesty, I know that's not the meaning. but I just think John Mayer was trying to throw in a weird pun with the in between line |

the war may have been a bad idea, sure. but you know what the stupidest idea is? leaving a war with out a proper ending. im glad someone said something about nazi germany, that helps with my point. think of this as WW1. the war was prematurely finished, and germany was left in ruins, guess what happens? GERMANY IS VULNERABLE. they elect hitler. ITS ANOTHER WAR. leaving a war now would cause a bigger war later. and not to mention the fact that thousands of men have died fighting. if we do what socialist obama wants, we will be spitting in the faces of their deaths. we would be saying, oh hey, thanks for dying for us, but, we arent gonna end this right, we're gonna quit. so, yeah, you died for nothing, kthnx? *****please dont think that i actually think this war was a good idea, i dont, but. leaving because it was a bad idea, after we have gone this far, BAD idea. ****and also, i HATE how people blame Bush for the war. you guys DO know that the men you elected for your state agreed with the war. at least a majority of them. its impossible to blame one man for this. he is only one branch, WE HAVE CHECKS AND BALANCES. someone else must of agreed to you know... and thus ends my rant |
