Jason Freese is that fourth guy, and he plays on the albums too, but I don't know why he doesn't get any credit. As for the whole: "He is the one who can really play any kind of music" thing, that's bullshit. For as long as Green Day has been around, they've all played the music. They have Jason Freese to play rhythm and play during shows for the songs that require two guitars, but it's not because he is the only one with talent.
I agree though, this song blows.
Worst band on the planet? Get real man, try listening to Nickelback or The All-American Rejects. Those are some terrible bands, and they make it to the Top 40s chart with the rest of the terrible music. It sure tells you something about people's taste in music. |

i was biting my nails after hearing this song on the radio, hoping beyond hope that the rest of the album wouldn't sound like this. luckily it doesn't, but god damn what the hell happened with green day? i mean it's pretty much a big fuck you to all the older fans, even though unintentional. one might have hoped that the backlash after american idiot from all the old fans would have been enough to go back but no, and this new sound is just so mediocre. |
