Guys, take it easy. There's no real interpretation here, this is a band that got famous by writing songs about dicks and having sex with dogs. Yes, the line 'I need a girl that I can train' is sexist out of context, but it's Blink-182. It's a fucking joke, part of a fun song that's made by perhaps not the most talented band ever, but a fun one to listen to. A little perspective, please. |

this song, if I have it right, is about a relationship that didn't work out, and the girl wants to try again, and so does the guy, but he doesn't know she feels the same way. It's about being afraid to take a chance and giving it one more shot.

This song has a very deep meaning to me. Maybe it's wrong but it's how I felt about it when I first heard it. This song strikes me as oddly familiar to my situation. I'm friends with a girl for whom I have much deeper feelings, but she seems to always be dating scumbags who don't realize just how lucky they are to be with such an amazing person. Maybe I'll be able to tell her someday... |
