This song is part of the storyline, that started in "Malcolm, Dust ‘em" (from Toehider Too!) and continued in "I’ve Been So Happy Living Down Here in the Water" (from GOOD) and "Concerning Lix & Fairs". The "GIANT MADE OF ROCK" is a reference to the Bride from "Malcolm, Dust 'em", literally a rock giant, who laid an egg in the forest after cheating on Malcolm, as a testament to Mills' imagination, or, as someone put it, Progressive madness. |

"Happy the man" verse is inspired by John Dryden's English translation of one of Horace's odes (Imitation of Horace, book III, ode 29, vv. 65-72).
