keith buckley is fuckin clever. and spending time to read his lyrics and make meaning out of them is to many people enjoyable n very rewarding. there's clearly a fuck load of time n effort put into poetry like this, too much for it, like u say, not to mean anything. dude maybe stick to songs bout heartbreak n shiz. |

he only wants the tongue as a trophy. a symbol of his bravery if u like. the song's a statement of how hunter's only hunt for there personal pride, not for anything beneficial to anyone else. "chewed off my very own head to get me out of this trap" - great line. this is an expression of the cruelty of the sport reckon. "a gentlemans sport" being keith's usual brilliantly sarcastic self. such a hero. thats my opinion anyways... |
