A little bonus info: 1. John Petrucci wrote the lyrics to this song, and I've heard rumors telling that it's written to his wife, a follow-up on the lyrics he wrote in Endless Sacrifice. 2. Mike Portnoy is Jewish....... |

| Bloodhound Gang – I Hope You Die Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| One of my favourite Bloodhound Gang songs. I guess, just like Nirvanas "Rape Me" this is a song about poetic justice. | |
| Guns N' Roses – Don't Damn Me Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Freedom of speech, yes, which I think is brought to life in these lines: I said what I meant and I've never pretended As so many others do intending just to please If I damned your point of view could you turn the other cheek |

| Dream Theater – In the Name of God Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Isn't there a secret message in the lyrics, emphasizing that the religion is Christianity. It's the line "Citing from the Holy Book" To my knowledge, "The Holy Bible" is the only scripture with the word "Holy" in the title. (Just to expound and avoid misunderstandings: I'm not saying that other scriptures aren't holy, I'm just saying that the Bible is, to my knowledge, the only one with the word in its name) |

| Dream Theater – Learning to Live Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| If I'm correct, I've read that there's no lyrical connection between LTL and WFS, they just figured out that the melody would fit in. | |
| Dream Theater – Raise the Knife Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I've also, in addition to all this, read that this part: "Reading through all the digests you show me I notice the way that you think you control me Doubting my future, you don't even know me But I never walked out on you" according to MP, is DT talking to fans, who thought KevMo leaving was the end of DT. "I" represents DT, "you" represents the fans. |
