By the shattered coals of another's arms
or swept inside like the rosary
that fell away when your girlish chums
cried out to take on motherhood. |

Yeah mang, it's definitely rod. Why would one's remaining fingers curl around the memory of Ra? That doesn't make any sense. Also, if it is Ra, then he'd be saying, "... around the memory of a Ra." You can clearly hear an "a" before the word in question. |

To elaborate, he's saying if he's fucked a few girls, he can't bitch about dying. He also uses body mapping in reference to death in By Torpedo Or Crohns ("will they map my skull and wrap my bones when my wig is gone, hmmm?"). |

Pretty sure it's "remaining fingers curled around the memory of a rod." He even alludes to this later in the song when he says "left hand gripping hockey stick or cattle prod," as if one day his remaining fingers will curl the same way." |

Pretty sure the first part is:
"Lately down in a hearse back is where my new best look is at
if I slit a purse or two then I can't curse
if my cake is cooked and my nerve veins are mapped." |

In the Bible, characters are usually introduced by saying who his father was, like "Abraham, son of Isaac, son of Jacob, son of so and so." I think that is what Yoni is referring to here. |

Just found out that the 8 bit sounding part is from the Goonies 2 NES game, based off the Cyndi Lauper song from the movie. So awesome. |

"Eating pussy for new fans"
"Missing Mel at a Motel 6." |

Correction: "06' I say the Friday before Easter was not GOOD, I cried to myself in the pisser" - hence the name of the song.
I don't know Yoni, maybe it's time to get over this girl. You already wrote one album about her. Only kidding, this song is awesome, although I think the opening line is kind of stupid. |

"I was half dead" could be a subtle reference to "Half Dead and Dynamite," the second Lifter Puller album. He says it a lot. |

In this live version I have, he says:
"I'd trade my sister for a fingertip of blow
back then I'd have sold my single for a thimble dip of snow"
He prefaces the song by saying it's the first one on the new album, so I would imagine it had already been recorded (this was before EE had been released). I wonder why he didn't stick with that line.
RIght now there's an add for cocaine drug tests on this page. Coincidence? |

That is really interesting, especially when you consider the way "Fall Saddles" sounds like "False Idols" when he says it. |

That first line is so perfect. This was one of the songs I was most excited for on the new album.
Some possible corrections:
"Kings fall to pawns, he dropped the needle let the song say it" (goes with the chess line later on)
"But the room's rules bend and the staff will make you laugh"
"When I'm eyed I tongue my bottom teeth" (when someone is staring at him)
"Swap meet brown 31 fishnet hat cocked to the right" (he got the hat at a swap meet)
Here's a great video of this song, maybe even better than the album version:
