you're reading waaaaay to far into it.this is a drinking song in my opinion.i lived in ireland for a few years,i'm of a celtic background,so on so forth and the only meaning i can interpret from "losing a leg" if i were to look into it as far as you have,is to say that where i live now (australia) legless is another term for drunk.so drunk you can't control your limbs,thus may as well be legless. this is a top song though.it goes off at gallaghers of a friday night |

i got to interview sunk loto for my locall radio station in 2007 and i asked Jason,the singer,what this song is really about.off air he told me it's about how his best friend died in a car accident while he was driving.if you watch thee film clip you can see there is a sreen of shattered glass superimposed over some of the shots. apparently the tree it's filmed around is the tree that the car hit . |
